At HeartLed Parenting We Believe

Parenting is more an art then science, but it’s often addressed as a thing to be figured out, fixed, or controlled. Parenting books give instructions on “how to” do this and that. Experts outline rules, tactics, and methods for parents to follow. Children are discussed as problems to be solved or enemies to defeat.

We believe parenting is a sacred, exciting, powerful, and sometimes mysterious journey (for parents and children alike). We believe that parenting challenges us to become more authentically ourselves and to allow our children to be authentic as well. We believe that being a parent is fun and funny… and sometimes scares us more than we ever thought possible.
